Coaching means to me first looking at myself. How can I be of value for my fellow person? What does that person need from me? Do I need to change something about myself or even learn a new skill? Both coaching and being coached means self-development, enrichment and gaining knowledge.
Not imposing ideas on others, but trying to truly understand and connect to the people whom I work with. That makes the coaching effective. It’s about a ‘click’ and the willingness to look to both the other and yourself from an accepting yet enterprising attitude. Essentially it involves mutual inspiration.
I coach to both individuals and groups, using music to trigger a creative development and emotional support. The aim is the quality of human communication. Musical experience is therefore unnecessary.
